How Nitrous Oxide Sedation Works
Nitrous oxide is inhaled through the mouth and nose. With this medication, you will remain awake and able to communicate but feel more relaxed. It can also lessen anxiety, increase pain threshold, reduce gag reflex and make time seem to pass quicker.
